We were honored to have Grandmaster Caz call in to discuss his Hush Hip Hop Tour and how he feels about this generation's version of Hip-Hop. I do my regular segment at 00:15:00, stay for Caz's interview, and return for Mr. 804's segment @ 01:55:00

RTF Interview of Nickelus F.

Much love to my girl Priya at RespectThisFresh.com for the opportunity to film and edit this footage of Nickelus F.

"Pale Kid Raps Fast"

How can you read "Fast-Rapping 'Pale Kid'" and NOT want to click the link?!

I , for 1, couldn't resist and accidentally stumbled onto this viral video of 23 year old George Watsky speeding through a short verse about all things random. It's pretty obvious the vid was meant to be taken in jest but speed-wise, Watsky might give Busta Rhymes a run for his money on his own track (great choice btw).

I'm still giggling over "you go gay baby, work that crib, work that bib..."

Watsky was originally discovered on the 6th season of "Russell Simmons Presents Def Poetry" so I included a video that shows a more "serious side" also.

Featured Track 1/15/11: Slaughterhouse - Wack MC's

Congrats to Slaughterhouse and Yelawolf for signing to Shady Records!! The cover shown above will hit stands on Feb.8th.

Sha Prince - Think of You Now (prod. by Marco Polo)

New music from Sha Prince

Featured Track 1/01/11: Diamond District "Who I Be" (Marco-Polo Remix)

My choice for Random Track of the Week was made because of the recent "issues" Wale had with local Baltimore artist Bossman (see previous post). This track showcases some of the talent in DC as well as proving there IS unity among local artists...plus it oozes dopeness.

Wale Flips Out on B-more Radio Station

I'm far from a huge Wale fan but I've got to agree with him on this one.

Prelude: a Baltimore artist named Bossman has been making diss records about Wale since an incident happened at a show in Nov (apparently Wale didn't acknowledge him properly). Wale never responded but that hasn't stopped the internet from buzzing about a Wale/Bossman beef. The station Wale called in the video below had Bossman on air speaking about the beef and he (Wale) has obviously had his fill of hearing about this bs.

I only played a snippet on Go-Live Radio last week so here's the whole rant:

Happy New Year Everyone!!

After watching this week's show, I realized it was distracting to watch us moving around the studio during JeffC & Seven's dj sets so I'll be posting an audio only link as well as the UStream on future posts.

The audio only link from the show below will be posted by the end of the week.
